Summary:
The Metal Lead Guitar method consists of three book/CDs -- a Primer, a Volume 1, and a Volume 2 -- each packed to the gills with licks, concepts, tricks, and music to hone your technique. It guides you to a professional playing level, teaching the techniques used by players like Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Kirk Hammett, Slash, Zakk Wylde, Jerry Cantrell, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, and others. But the main focus of this method is not copying licks, but developing solid playing technique and musicianship, and to launch you on the path to creating your own lead style.

Volume 2’s 143 licks and examples are all demonstrated on the CD, as well as five more solos with backing band and the full lead track (melodies and solo) to the instrumental guitar tune, "Babylon."
