Beginning Rock Rhythm Guitar
Summary: Beginning Rock Rhythm Guitar video teaches rhythm guitar in a variety of rock styles, from classic 60s and 70s rock to 80s hard rock and 90s alternative rock styles. As the name suggests, it starts out at the beginner stage. But being a true 'Troy Stetina' method, it goes well beyond that and into some reasonably challenging territory before it's through. Therefore, it is suitable for intermediate-level players as well as beginners. Covers: Major and minor open chords, barre chords, power chords, dyads, rock and blues progressions, counting time, strumming, syncopation, root/chord strums, arpeggiated chords, shuffle and double-time shuffle rhythms.
***Caution! This video does not include transcriptions of the musical examples. While it is possible to figure out the licks just by watching and listening, it sure is a lot easier to also have the tab of each example. The publisher chose made this available separately in the Beginning Rock Rhythm Guitar pocket guide booklet. Get both together for an easier learning system.
