i looked at your profile and you're the same PHoS that went to guitar.com!!
i've been wondering what happened to you!
i remember you left g.com when it started going down the toilet.......and all of the numetalers and punk players started making topics like "phos is the worst player ever, guitarius is the worst player ever." lol
your guitarshred.com site was awesome! what hapened to it?!?! it helped me TONS.....sweep picking madness inspired me greatly!
what's your email/aim/msn/yahoo?

btw....plz delete this thread (seeing as you ARE the mod)....it has nothing to do with the topic area :D.

Basically, besides the fact that I moved, and have moved several times since, and am much busier than I was in the past. I just don't get much enjoyment out of the message boards anymore. To be honest, I try to avoid them as much as possible.
I actually sent an email to Troy awhile back telling him he could remove me as moderator of this forum, as I no longer have time to sufficiently moderate it. I don't think he got it though, as I'm seemingly still a mod! I believe this is actually the first time I visited this board within 6 months.
I occassionally pop in on the Metal Method board, but also was glad to be removed as an admin there. Just didn't have the time to spend on it. Or if I did, I didn't have the will to logon and do it.
Yes, guitar.com did go downhill real fast. It's kind of funny that any genre of player would bash myself, or guitarius. As far as I remember, we were two of the people that were for all types of music. I know I am for all types of music... The only reason we did "shred" stuff on the Miles Away recordings, was because they were instrumental tunes.
Guitarshred.com was taken down, because I just didn't have the time to do it. It hadn't been updated in a year when I took it down. I've been working off and on, on a new version of the site, but I've never gotten around to finishing it as of yet. I would like to get it back up eventually... I don't want to deal with all the emails again though, heh heh! Glad to hear that the site helped you.
I have an old email address fastsolos@hotmail.com that I occasionally check. Haven't gotten around to getting a new one just as of yet.
