I think the first step would be memorizing the notes. Good luck & let me know how it goes or if you have more questions! |

well, i ve got only a copy of the jackson kelly from martinez with a floyd rose tremolo, and a behringer strat-copy. So i m just someone who buys copies (not because i like it, but because of the d*mn ed money ) i downloaded the free lesson. Its pretty cool, but i still didn t work ML vol 1 down(i m about to begin the "Montezumaz revenge" solo). So i ll do that first. By the way: How does this paying for the other lessons work, and how much does it cost? (Edited by old fashion Metal at 7:00 am on June 3, 2005)

You should try out the free sample lesson just for fun and inspiration. My guitar is nothing special-- ESP M350 (discontinued model) with the original EMG HZ pickups. I got it for $600 about 5 years ago. I've had a monogamous relationship with that one guitar ever since.

well the video has atrocious sound. (recorded at 2 am, so i had to use low volume levels & digital cam is junk from like 1998) i have a POD2.0 going to a 65 watt crate practice amp with single 10" speaker. i use the 6D preset on the POD for a "wet" lead sound. i made a video of that part! http://s95395959.onlinehome.us/patrick%20-%20beethoven%20tapping.MPG use your left hand fingers to mute the other strings. Also, make sure that your taps and pull-offs "snap" the string down as they lift off the string. As always, start slow and build up. The first step is memorizing the notes. Good luck & let me know how it goes or if you have more questions!
